The Reserve Pattern Collection (RPC) brings you authentic vintage styles from the private pattern collection of Decades of Style Pattern Company. Patterns are in single sizes. ELEVIN sizes available from 32" bust/26" waist to 52" bust/46" waist. You must select your size!!
Pattern #Y01 is 1951 raglan sleeve blouse with an elegant standing collar. 2 sleeve options are included; long sleeves with extra fullness gathered into a cuff, or short sleeves with a turned-up cuff. Dart/tucks at the waist create a dramatic 50s silhouette. These tucks can be omitted to achieve a completely modern look.
Skill level is easy but your fabric choice will affect this. No fabric suggestions on the 1951 pattern. Light weight fabric with a soft or crisp hand will work. Crisp fabric will result in a more voluminous silhouette. A soft fabric will drape closer to the body but you’ll need a suitably stiff interfacing for the collar.

Short Sleeve view:
45" wide fabric (without nap): 1 1/2 - 2 1/4 yard
60" wide fabric (without nap): 1 1/4 - 1 7/8 yard
Long Sleeve view:
45" wide fabric (without nap): 2 - 2 3/4 yard
60" wide fabric (without nap): 1 1/4 - 2 7/8 yard
Notions: Thread, interfacing (approx. 1 yard) and shirt size buttons - 1/2" or 5/8" (5 buttons recommended for short sleeve view/ 7 buttons recommended for long sleeve view.)
Pattern is drafted for B cup bra size. Choose size with full bust if you are a B cup or a small C. For larger cup sizes, use your high bust measurement and do an FBA. 7" of ease at the bust and about 1" of ease at the waist with the waist tucks sewn up.
