Vireo means powerful and fresh. The otherwise seemingly unassuming sparrow species of the same name is remarkable for its unmistakable and indefatigable song. Of course neither the Vireo Chronograph nor the Vireo Dual Time can sing or fly. But powerfulness, freshness and a pleasantly reserved appearance are definitely attributes that might apply to both.
